Prof. Carl Erb

Prof. Erb has worked in ophthalmology for over 30 years and is active conservatively, surgically and scientifically. After a C3 professorship at the Rostock University Eye Clinic and as Chief Physician in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Schlosspark-Klinik Berlin, he has been an ophthalmologist in private practice in Berlin since 2011.

His current positions are Medical Director of the Eye Clinic at Wittenbergplatz, Berlin, Medical Director of the Private Institute for Applied Ophthalmology Berlin and Prof. h.c. at the Salymbekov University International Medical Faculty, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. His scientific research and interests focus on glaucoma, neurodegeneration and neuroprotection, ocular perfusion, eye and systemic diseases, color vision, perimetry, dry eye.
